VV Poetry Workshop

Visual vernacular is somewhere between mime and visual BSL storytelling. In this workshop the 3 VV poets will share tips and techniques through games, improvisation and exercises, to have fun and expand your visual poetry and storytelling skills!
By the end of the workshop you will go home empowered with some knowledge and skills to create and tell a powerful short story that any signer in the world could understand and enjoy!
(The age group is 14 to 21 years.)

FUSE Theatre & WAWA Workshop
Camden People’s Theatre, London
The workshop will be a mix of sign-song, dance and theatre-making with Wawa and Fuse combining their skills to create an interactive and exciting few hours. People will come to Camden People's Theatre in Central London to learn how to sign-song in both American Sign Language and British Sign Language.
Then, Chris Fonseca will lead a hip-hop dance tutorial where the sign-song and dance will be fused together.
After this, participants will be led step by step on how to create a short performance piece based on a real life event incorporating all of the skills they have acquired during the workshop.
(The age over 18+).
